Sigil

Sigils are special symbols that are created to hold a specific enchantment or effect. Sigils can be written on parchment or bark, crafted from metal, crafted from stone, painted on a wall surface, a floor surface, or a mat. Sigils are used for rituals, Shaman spells, and generic enchantments.
Sigil creation requires magic skill, enchantment skill, and raw ingredients such as ink. Rituals may require a sigil as an ingredient, with additional items placed on the sigil.
A sigil wears out once its charges are exhausted, where it will slowly fade away. Sigils have limited charges and cannot be recharged. A sigil item such as a necklace, talisman, pendant, jewel, shield or sword will also be an exhausted item once its charges are used, though the visual shape remains.
