Riddle
From Neverend
Many creatures like to ask riddles. When asking a riddle, a riddle database is queried and a riddle is selected. Rare riddles are those that have gone unused for some time, and are picked first. The riddle database has five tiers of riddles, from easiest to hardest. When the riddle is asked, the player has several choices. There is usually only one right answer, though there may be answers that provide a second chance, or end the riddle without answering it (astounding the person asking it, or making them think about the answer).
Those who ask riddles include trolls, goblins, shapeshifters, and humans. Loki asks only the hardest riddles. New riddles are added to the database over time. A wrong answer can result in the riddler ignoring the player, dissapearing, being angered, attacking the player, stealing something, denying passage, closing a door or gate, leaving, warping, running, or capturing the player and taking them prisoner.
Some riddles have no answer. Some riddles must have a quest or piece of information completed to know the true answer. Some are open and require typing the right response, or choosing the right selection.
Examples of riddlers Rumplestiltskin, Tim the enchanter, and Zen masters who ask Koan.
