While many games use their own interface and menus to perform actions, the most efficient use of actions is through macros, usually two key combinations using CTRL or ALT and a number.

Instead of CTRL and ALT, wha if they whole keyboard was used plus a number? For example, magic would be M plus a number, weapon skill would be W plus a number, special abilities would be X plus a number. Players would have to set up macros beforehand to assign slots 1-0.
