Doodads
From Neverend
Doodads are default objects that add flavor to the landscape. They have a specific style that makes them stand out or blend in. They may serve a specific function, have interaction, or have no interaction. They may be placed by GMs, created by NPCs and monsters, or spawn randomly based on nearby monsters, territories, and terrain. For example, a Spider hive would have spider doodads such as eggsacs, bones or remains caught in webs, cutaway webs, wall erosion, and floor markings.
Doodads that are automatically generated will look at conditions for terrain and closeness to monsters and territory, and other doodads. Random placement of doodads will mean only a limited number can be placed in the same area, and will not be created if another exists closesby.
Doodads that are used in quests and events wil be rarely or never seen outside of that quest or event.
Doodads can be destructible, indestructible, or destructible only under certain conditions. Doodads can be targetable, targetable to specific players, or non-targetable.
