Character creation
From Neverend
During character creation, players are given the option to play a premade NPC, create a new character, or use a saved character.
[edit] Premade
The player may choose to "possess" an NPC in the game world. The NPC must be a low skill NPC. When chosen, important information on the NPC skill level, occupation, organization, history, and class are displayed. The player reviews the parameters and accepts and the player enters the world as that NPC. This stores the NPC data in the database as being used by a player, so that the NPC can be reverted if necessary.
NPC selection is based on criteria narrowed down by filters. Filters include:
- City name
- Current job
- Current class (if any)
- Current skills (three highest)
No information is given on NPC name, inventory, or reputation. A player may only have one controlled NPC per account, and can only create a premade character once per day if deleted. The character is no longer considered an NPC until "deleted," turning the character in to a game controlled NPC.
Humans are the only available race at first. In the future, players can select different NPC races and monsters as playable.

[edit] Saved
This menu serves as a character management menu. Multiple characters are displayed here, some earned from quests, offspring, special events, awards, afterlife quests, contests, prepaid cards with premaid characters, and special accounts. These bonus characters may be played to provide an alternative playstyle.
Expansions can create additional starter races and save them here, with the disadvantage of not being as customizable as humans.
The menu saves characters that are saved in the character creation menu, including characters that are created but not yet used.
The menu can be used to transfer characters from other accounts. This uses a verification system to ensure accounts are not stolen. This also allows easy trade and giving of characters to other accounts.
