[edit] Animal hybrids

A friendly, edible creature

Some animals are designed as a hybrid of two species, or as one species and a plant. This creature has the behavior and abilities of both, such as a bird and mammal hybrid climbing trees, prowling and using clawed attacks while also flying and spending time on peaks and high areas. Plant and animal hybrids react as plants with the intelligence of animals, and have the vulnerabilities of plants. Valuable plant material is dropped, used in weaving, alchemy, cooking, chemistry, and spells. Animals should have a unique and functional design rather than looking simply like a cross between two species. They should somehow look natural and adapted to their surroundings.
